Jimmy Eat World's Hear You Me

Like Everyone else(I imagine), I don't pay much attention to lyrics, unless I really like a song, or have to make sure it's clean for what ever reason. But I was sitting at my computer and of my giant list of punk rock music, Jimmy Eat World started playing and it was this song. I managed to pay attention to the lyrics, and they moved me. You actualy can feel his pain, I have never been moved by anything ever. I'm not talking tears or anything but just the fact I was moved. For anyone that has heared this song I was just wondering what you guys thought. It made me think of if one of my parents passed away, not just grandparents or someone old, some one close.

well it's not exactly anime, in any way, you'd have to admit that, and I was browsing this forum when I decided to post aout it, so...

Just a little too lazy to switch forums I guess, but just because it does have it's own forum doesn't mean it's not still off topic.

lyrics are fine but lyrics alone cant drive a band.

Yeah..... I admit fully that I like them, i'm not ashamed to admit that. But I do often find myself skipping their songs, and they are most certainly not my favorite, by a long shot.

Most of the song is composed of him yelling "Are you listening?".

I've heard it, and it doesn't sound like he's in that much emotional pain.

in other words the song is titled "Hear You Me" by the band, "Jimmy Eat World" Are YOU listening? Maybe you should download that off kazaa or something, cuz it's nothing like what you're saying. One of the main lyrics is, "May angels lead you in" Dude, you messed up.

I believe Roke is thinking of "Sweetness", or whatever that song's title is.
