Drama? Romance? Just lyrical or is it about the melodies?

The Scientist by Coldplay is kinda sad with a bit of romance in it.
A music genre would be good if you wanted a more specific answer.

"I Can't Make You Love Me" by Bonnie Raitt is possibly one of the saddest songs on the planet. Her voice in that song is heartbreaking.
