It would be also much better. Everyone's abusing riot gear and evolution, so all vids end up looking the same. If you put the extra effort to create your own noise in some way, you're making a step to make your video look a bit different and unique in a way. It's not saying much, but still. :P
Alright so Thanks to Elcalavero I was able to find out the static that Decoy and Warheart used... Now what Mirko said was that it's overused. So I want to actually create my own static using particles in AE... Lets give it a shot... :D

yeah I'm lost already... :awesome:

Does anyone know how to make a static effect by using particles? Or even a tutorial which can help? I would much appreciate it

Mmmh. I'd manually draw some single sratches or small groups of noise sample (or perhaps look for them with google images), then put them one for frame in their own comp, and use this comp as a custom particle source. Set the particle generation to be medium-low and give the particles a very high speed without motion blur. That way every frame should look different since every particle would be so fast to stay on screen just for 1 frame, or 2 at tops.
Thought of this more or less on the spot so it might not turn out as keikaku. :uhoh:

EDIT: Alternatively, it probably would work better to give the particles a very very very short life and make the particles generation spot cover the whole screen and then some more so that it will basically randomly generate a particle somewhere in the screen or slightly off and then it'll disappear instantly.

I understand what you mean but the actually chances of a good outcome are slim, like I mean it could work it but I guess your better off staying with the pre-made footage.

Thanks again Mirko!
