Moving Text/Credits Effect

Moving text with a background
For example in this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSTXHYcVVZg

To make the credits similar to that would you use track motion or pan/crop?
And would you use text media? Or maybe a snapshot of text already laid out?
Or something else?


On a side note, would any amv maker use this http://tinyurl.com/6l2g689 in their amv? (For credits or an intro)
Or should they recreate it themselves?

Pan and crop would be what you'd use to move text around yes.

As for the element you linked. I'm pretty confident that's a Particular 2 preset. I might be mistaken but it wouldn't be hard to recreate from scratch. I for one would make it myself if that's what you're asking.
