if u refering to the colour slides that is twitch....most probably...AE plugin

id u refeering to the image having a darken look..less colours or increased dominance of a dark colour that is probably some levels/bump map/colour curves set-up

Im sure its twitch aswell. Just make sure you turn up the slider but have the RGB shift set at 0 or else your gonna get a very whored AMV. Imo flashes should also be kept off or at a very very small amount. Basically to do the effect from the video, keyframe in and out quickly instead keeping it through the way whole because your video will just shake repetitively if not set properly.
