Hi All,
Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section, I'm new to the forums. I recently became interested in the making of AMVs and had decided that the best way to start off would be to watch some AMVs. I came across an AMV that has some particularly interesting effects (from what I've seen anyways) and it would be great if someone could tell me more about how to implement these kinds of effects.
Based on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=An2MPW4nOHI
What effects did he use for:
0:08-0:12 (How did he fit the two characters so perfectly into the manga background? How did he give the background the little flashing effect and fade more in the center?)
0:50-0:54 (Everything here)
1:01 - 1:16 (Everything here. Most interested in knowing)
1:25 - onwards (How did he get the little rectangle box and have the pictures repeat continuously?)
I apologize if the questions sound dumb, I'm completely new to making AMVs and I'm really in love with his style of AMV.
Thank you so much for helping!!

you say you're new to amvs, but what about software? do you have any experience at all with software to do this kind of stuff? if you don't, then a textual explanation for any of this would go way over your head--way over...like it'd be all the way in naptune or jupiter...maybe uranus.

"some" experience with vegas will still leave an explanation of how to do this over your head. keep editing other things and come back to this after a year or two lol
