Tried it with the "Channel Blend" (red,green,blue) added all layers but the video comes out gray -____-

btw do u know some other ways to distort footage like tv simulator/add noise fx? (know them pretty well, but it's not enough now ;D)

channel blend refers to the RGB color channels. So fucking with them is just going to desaturate the picture.

Here's a replica of the effect, mess around with the settings.
Personally, I feel mine's better. But the effect you're trying to achieve is done with a plugin called twitch for After Affects.
That effect he did was pretty much a drag and drop in effect, just a few minor keyframing.

..Those projects I posted are the same exact effect you're trying to do.
I told you there's no plugin for that? Only in AE.
I hope you know how to work with non-sourced dependent files.
If you really want the clip I used I can post that to make it easier.
