Hello i'm trying to understand how this person did the fast transitions in the video
link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7G7_q3e7NM
from 00:29-00:32
I drag the second clip onto the first one and put a transition between them, and it does speed it up, but not as fast as it is in the video.
thank you.

Re: Fast transitions
Change the duration of the transition? So you make the time where there is overlap between the first and second clip as short as you want by dragging and then it should be fine I guess.

Re: Fast transitions
so I drag B clip over A clip and place a transition between that dragged area and it makes it faster however not as fast as it is in the video. and what effect gives the blur push?NotReallyHere wrote:Change the duration of the transition? Re: Fast transitions
First off: what program are you using? I use Vegas myself so everything I say will be from that perspective but if you're using something different it might not actually work.
Also, the "blur push" looks like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qd3_4xFQ3_s with some motion blur added to it. (dont think there's a label "motion blur" in vegas but gaussian blur does the trick)

Re: Fast transitions
It's not a zoom, it's almost like a blurring transition. I use sony vegas 13, i'm just going for the effect like I have clip a and clip B, Well I want clip A to almost have like a motion blur, and then clip b appears. But it has to be really quick like in the video.
