Question on Masking in Sony Vegas Pro 8

Post by AznBrotha101 » Sun May 02, 2010 6:43 pm

I'm trying to do masking in Vegas Pro 8 and it seems I'm running into a problem. I know how to get the pen tool working and make it so that I have everything around the path disappear. But what if I want to make everything inside the path disappear and keep everything around it? Cause I'm trying to mask this one person who's arms are at his waste, so there is a space created where you can see behind him. I successfully got everything around him, but those two spaces between his arms still show. Any ideas?

Mask the part you want to remove too, then on the left where the mask mode is set to positive, switch it to negative.
