Eh?CodeChrono wrote:ACtually, here is the overall process.ashes0 wrote:Yea, the only reason I used WMV is cause it's the only way I can get Sony Vegas to export properly other than doing an uncompressed avi which is like a gig in size :/
But as CodeChrono said it came out lookin pretty nice so I figured why bother?
(I tried exporting to mpg4 and it gave me a 10 gb file 0.o)
From Vegas : Export As uncompressed video (This should be large)
Use VirtualDubMod : Open the uncompressed video. Compress From VirtualDubMod as HuffyYuv
Use Zarx264Gui : Make an avisynth script and import video. Also import your audio here.
Hit Encode : This will make a Mp4, which should be a really low file size (lower than what you have now)

What he said.Ghet wrote:zarx264gui is a nifty lil program that comes with the amvapp and helps you make your video into an x264 mp4 (it can probably also do mkv, but idk how...)ashes0 wrote:Notice the bold >.>
It basically takes the video footage and combines it with the audio footage to make a mp4.
Though there have been several reports that it doesn't always work, so some only use it to obtain video footage, then use a muxing program (like Yamb) to combine the video footage from Zark264Gui with a compressed audio track.
