Serious AMV op ex request
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=19415
Anime is Barefoot Gen and music is by Evanescence.
This is my first 'public' AMV so i'm looking for people's reactions. It's of a serious matter and contains scenes of.. uhm.. i guess you can call it 'gore'.
I wanted to upload it to a-m-v.org so that it could be hosted locally here, but I don't know how the admins are going to react to it and I don't want to get kicked off. Please advise on this too. I can't keep it on my own server for a long time, it eats up bandwidth like crazy and I don't have that much bw to use.

Well, if you have it on your own server now, the quickest and best way to see if it qualifies for the org would be to PM Phade and ask (nicely, mind you ^_^ ) if he'd look over the vid and let you know whether it was suitable or not. If he has the time, and you can keep it up long enough for that, you'll know for sure whether it's too violent or not. Otherwise it's more a matter of what different people consider excessive violence, and they could always be wrong.

Hey I haven't seen your AMV but looking at this post I couldn't help it. There are a lot of gory AMV's on the local server you know!!! Check only the Kenshin OAV ones or hellsing or the "boogiebop Phantom"( I hope I spelled it right). What I think that Fade meant is that we would't like to go crazy with Hentai and stuff Like That. Keep It Serious You know what I mean??
Anyways It wouldn't hurt If you asked him nicely!!

thnx Paulo!!
I cant review vids with local links yet because I'm still a new member.. next week i can i think..
I did see your Xenosaga - cocco - kemono michi and In The ENd...
Kemono Michi:
It was pretty good. Two things I found lacking is sync of actions to music in the beginning and the length of it. I would try to stay under the 5 minute (maybe even under 4mins) for a music video. It can get people bored by the end.
In The End:
Good. Some parts could be synced better. And of course: the music is way way way overused.... i have about 8 AMVs of In The End... all just for Trigun! (i didn't make any of them)
