Action

Post by Johan Peacecraft Rodrigue » Sun Apr 18, 2004 5:29 pm

It seems that we are all in agreement about the situation at hand. We all want reviews and we also know that we shoudl give reviews as well. Like one had said, "Do unto others" kind of thing. So if we wish to recieve reviews we must give reviews to each other. Now that we are all in agreement of this it's time to put our words into action. I myself have already completed the opinions for all the videos that I have downloaded and now it's a case of waiting to see if anyone will make opinions, otherwise I will just keep on giving reviews to each video that I view here at a-m-v.org, and perhaps I'll see some of yours. We'll see what you have to show.

Opinions

Well, I never thought that I would get this kind of reaction from the AMV creator/viwer community. As I had said before, we all have the agreement in which we want reviews but we have to give as well. When you think about it, when we all continually give, and I mean all of us, not just one, two, or a handfull of us. I mean all of us at this site. When we all give reviews, at the same time we are recieving reviews. I know that it may not make sense at first but it does when you consider the scope of it.

So, it seems that someone is on a 1000 opinion mission. In that case he has the right motivation, and as I've seen, it is rather hard to keep momentum when it is you yourself who are starting it and following it. But, I shall stay behind my own promise that with every video I view I shall make an opinion for it. No matter how good or bad the video it is.

And as far as me making the most opinionated member, if there is an award for that here at a-m-v.org, then I look foward to recieving it.

Well, I have to admit that based on my own approach, I can't really op every video I see - since I like to have something more than a few good words to say about it. In fact, most ops I give are pretty long, and when I REALLY want to give an op, it takes me a good two hours for one video, which I have to watch a few times beforehand.

On the other hand... I do follow the give/receive maxim pretty faithfully. The number of ops I give is always higher than what I get by at least 50%, so certainly there's no accusations of being hypocritical to be brought against me...

But again, I'm glad to see more 'hardcore' reviewers around here, hats off.

Kept my word

Post by Johan Peacecraft Rodrigue » Sat May 15, 2004 10:44 am

As I had promised when I first made my first opinion and declaration, I've been reviewing every video that I've downloaded here at animemusicvideos.org. So far, since my last posting I"ve downloaded about three videos, all three I"m reviewing as I am writing this opinion. I only hope that others will follow in my path no matter how daunting of a task that it may be, still every creator needs encouragement from an audience, otherwise the creation itself would feel like a waste.

In case anyone reading this is interested, try looking at the videos I've made. I think you'll like what you see there.
