WIP - first video, looking for what people think

Howdy. I've been working in video/motion graphics for a while, and been watching AMVs for a few years now. Had some downtime at work, so I thought I'd make one myself, with my favorite anime [Eva].

Uses the Lost in Space theme by Apollo 440.

Well looks ok for now. Not sure if you gonna put a story in there or not. But from what I saw you might want to remove scenes with them talking if not using lip synch. its distracting to say the least.

I couldn't see the video yet, but what he meant is that you shouldn't place people talking ( try not, but sometimes it's impossible depending the kind of anime ) or at least not shouting, or in a way that i'll be more notable that they are talking and there is not lip synch with the music. About what he said of "story" is maybe joining a story between the song and the anime

He means lip flap is just distracting......it just is....

Sorry, let me elaborate: It's just action. It's stuff moving fast. To hear someone ask if I'm going to "add a story" is just... odd lol

The only problem with that statement is that most people like to watch something that means something. Even if there is no story, make the action lead to something. I'm no fast paced editor but I know if I watch a video, AMV or not, I want to get something out of it. Just random action makes me go... meh... delete.

As for lip flap... EVIL. It burns the soul and everytime you leave lip-flap, a kitty gets cancer.

See, people keep saying the same stuff - but none of you sound like you actually went and watched it, except for that first guy.
