Critique on youtube is usually from people who are just viewers. Critique on the org is usually from people who are editors. There are completely different standards depending on your audience. To the average person watching your video on youtube, 3 weeks spent on a single video may seem like a long time. But to many people on the org, 3 weeks isn't any time at all. Last year, I spent 4 whole months on my "Tears are from the heart" AMV that doesn't even have effects.pan_dbgt01 wrote:Well all I have to say based in this is, I am considering not posting videos on here anymore. My videos, especially my more recent ones, I feel aren't that bad. For some reason I just posted a new one with little effects as to reflect the anime I was using and it has a 2.8 avg??? I spent 3 weeks on it! On youtube the feedback has been more positive. I dunno.....I'm tired of people not taking things at face value and looking at what matters in a video.
Effort
Timing
Use of Effects and Transitions
Not the overall HD Blu Ray quality!!!

"Awesome", "Amazing"... the so called "brainless" comments in YouTube. Whether it's true that you find a lot of those comments, it really doesnt help you too much if you really want to improve. But you dont have to be a genius to realize when someone is trying to help you or they are just being an ass
