Thank you, love. It was very much appreciated. I'll get around to responding to it in the next few days or so.

LOL.... I try not to go too hard on anyone, but I am honest... Hope it's not too harsh. You have some great potential!

Good first effort!

Wow, thanks for doing this!

These are my first two vids, Windows Movie Maker and everything. Both are Silent Hill videos and while the first one is a slow song, the second one is definitely harder rock. I wouldn't exactly call it heavy metal, but it does come close... :?

That's "Sour Times in Silent Hill," footage from Silent Hill, Portishead's Sour Times as music. Slower, melodic, and since it has 3 ops and a lot of star rankings, it's not a big deal. Still, that's the first video I'd ever made, so feedback on it would be helpful.

My second AMV, posted just last night is...

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=93336

That's "Silent Hill 2 - Everything is Fine," footage from Silent Hill 2, The Pixies' In Heaven as music (well, basically, the info page explains it). Much shorter, faster paced, much more action oriented, many more hours spent on it... almost the thematic opposite of the first one in every way. The scores so far aren't nearly as good for this video, though, so I could definitely use advice on what could've been done better.

Thank you, and I hope you enjoy them! :)

hey thanks 4 ur opinion. anywayz i hav a few questions that i need help with:

1. I know u said something about the sizes of the clips, how do u make them the size with windows mover maker cause thats the only thing i have to make vids with and the version i have is a lil older

2. where can i go to to download good quality clips of rurouni kenshin cause even though i only hav 2 dvd's of da show i don't have a dvd ripper and i kinda don't wanna use a downloading program like kaazaa or limewire cause i think they leave viruses and other shit on my computer.

3. whats WMV8 and WMV9?

Here's a good way to get started: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/

and: http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/Tutorials/Index.aspx

You can also ask in the forums for help, just make sure to post to the right forum...

As far as clips go, if you have the DVDs, see if you can find a friend with a DVD drive to rip them for you. That's your best bet for good quality footage. (Especially Kenshin!)

Hope this helps!
