If you haven't seen it, I guess my question would be more directed at the the 'technical' end, but since you did rate them so high, I just wanted to see if there were any other areas I could improve on (technically speaking, that is).ashiteruSweetSurrender wrote:It's hard for me to really criticize it when I havent seen the anime... the clips you used seemed pretty based on the cats and that's what the vid was based upon... I don't know wether or not you should have used some more instead of the ones you used or not... that's about the only thing I can think of to criticize it by... hehe, other than that it's really clever! Promise! haha.

Sky - Understanding Body Language - This is the perfect song to fit this movie and sky pulled it off amazingly... can't get much better than that.
Your op's up!

I know, the thing is... in almost all comedy vids... accept for vids such as "Senshi on Springer" and "Ego Trip" in which effects are clearly needed, effects and technicality arn't really necessary, it's the humor and timing that's needed in such categories. As long as the clips are ironic to the lyrics and on time, it's done what it set out to do! If there was something you needed to improve on... i'd say... maybe it could've been a little better if you had flashes on the beats or have it lighten slightly on them to give it more of a feel of a show or a punk rock concert... other than that, timing's great! Keep it up, you're in the right direction!808-buma wrote:If you haven't seen it, I guess my question would be more directed at the the 'technical' end, but since you did rate them so high, I just wanted to see if there were any other areas I could improve on (technically speaking, that is).ashiteruSweetSurrender wrote:It's hard for me to really criticize it when I havent seen the anime... the clips you used seemed pretty based on the cats and that's what the vid was based upon... Okay, will keep all your comments in mind when I do another one (which may be a while off as I have currently 2 other projects underway and niether are currently slated to be comedic in nature...).ashiteruSweetSurrender wrote: I know, the thing is... in almost all comedy vids... accept for vids such as "Senshi on Springer" and "Ego Trip" in which effects are clearly needed, effects and technicality arn't really necessary, it's the humor and timing that's needed in such categories. thanks again and sorry for being such a pain - it just concerned me that your op versus my current star rating just don't jive... but I guess the stars is very subjective to the viewer.
much gratitude on your time for the op and the followup questions!

Oh... yea, I have the same thing going on here as well... my newest is my best yet and it has a lower rating than my worst! ha... but I know there was a thread before that everyone was complaining as well and then came to the conclusion that most people have forgotten by the time they give the star rating and give everything 3's or goof off and give whatever the hell they want... which is what i do sometimes... heh, anyway, ur not a bother at all! I'm glad I could help you! And again don't let the star rating get you down... guess I should follow my own advice huh?808-buma wrote: thanks again and sorry for being such a pain - it just concerned me that your op versus my current star rating just don't jive... but I guess the stars is very subjective to the viewer.
