Considering "lack of effects" in an amv a bad point, is something I would call unreasonable to the fullest

That's actually why I noted that "Path of Destiny" was old school so there was no perception about needing/having effects in it. Maybe I was steriotyping but the russian amv's I've seen are all big on effects (reflections and between two worlds among others got me thinking that way) but that's why I put those comments up there so that Gaurry would know what he/she was downloading.
I'm guessing that you are complaining about comments in your op?

Wheres my Op? Sorry, been almost 2 days since I posted my video and still no Op. Anyway's in terms to the poster above me:

Russian AMV's are really well made. In my opinion although they use a lot of effects, most of them do not disturb the flow of the video. Although, I am more a fan of less effects rather than more.

ArashinomeAMV, I did not tell that absence of effects this in itself badly. Interesting effects can correct the stereotyped concept of a clip. Sometimes effects in itself are the concept (Shepherd - Silencio, Shepherd - Collector, Wormwood - Betweem two world, Wormwood - Another Day, Decoy - Naruto's Technique Beat, Decoy - Bleach Technique Beat etc).

Autraya, TwilightChrono, many known russian clips in which are not present effects (Evilspider - Revenge, Evilspider - Lifitime, Tayo - Part of You, Shadow of Me (I recommend you all her clips), Ukms - Fade to blue etc). In such clips there are no effects, or they are a part of receptions of editing.

damn I always thought you russians had a weird concept of effects but most of those videos have MASSIVE color editing/manipulation which is still considered a pretty big effect over here o_O
