Your syncing is ok but the music doesn't really match your source material. It just seems random. When you make an amv you want to make sure you have a point you want to get across. In your amv it just seems like you are jamming two puzzle pieces that dont fit together. You have potential just make sure you work with purpose.

As one fellow first-timer to another, YAY YOU DID THE THING! It's really hard to even post a first video when there are such insanely good editors on here so kudos for posting. I agree with exkcal that I think you have a feel for where sync should be. That's one of those things that is really hard to teach, it's like trying to sing if you're tone deaf otherwise. So that's really great. I can see what exkcal is saying as far as pairing the song and video source, but honestly that song is a little hard anyway. My biggest suggestion is: Don't be afraid to make a full song and sink days and weeks into something. Find an idea that gives you chills and then keep messing with it until you're ready to give up. Then leave and come back in a week and get re-excited about it again. For me, my first video took me like 3 months and that's WITH a trained veteran editor telling me when things will and won't work. So don't be afraid to take your time on it. You've got the idea, keep working hard!
