CAVEATS
Like all free things, don't expect 'em to be too good.
I call things as I see them, and that can be influenced by a lot of things. The music selection, in miy mind, is particually key. A song that doesn't mesh well with the presented visual experience is uninteresting, and will garner some low scores from me. On the other hand, if they mesh really well, I tend to overlook problems (or not notice them in all the 'oohs' and 'aahs' I'm giving the video) and conversely, give high scores. Some Different Rules than Standard:
1) NO Fushigi Yuugi videos. Why? Well, because everyone forbids at least one or two anime, why should I be different? Also...NO Hellsing videos.
That means, yes, I do watch DBZ videos. However, don't expect high scores, particularly in the Originality department (unless you have, indeed, made something original). I try not to have a bias against them, but the trend is against good DBZ videos. If you've made one, by all means, grab a free op.
(For all you FY lovers: I like FY. It just got randomly picked. For all you Hellsing lovers: Hellsing videos fall into the same traps DBZ videos fall into (pointless action to pointless song), and this is made worse by the fact that ALL Hellsing videos have the same scenes, due to the fact that you only have 13 eps to draw from [of course, far too many DBZ videos have Majin Vegeta fighting Goku...
]).2) ONE video per person. That was, ten different people get ops. Share the wealth!
What else....
3) Must be a LOCAL/DIRECT download. I hate having to hunt down odd indirect links. This isn't a hard rule, just make sure I can get your video. No, I don't want you to IM it to me.
4) 10 ops only! If I extend this, I'll let you know, but don't try to be the eleventh man. (That's a good anime. They Were Eleven!)
That's about it. If you like the length of this post....well...my reviews CAN be this long, or longer. Or shorter. I'll say what I think needs saying and that's that.
