I'm having a problem downloading. I have trouble downloadin local vids because whenever the download starts it opens up a browser on the left side of the screen and tryies to play the video in the browser instead of just downloading it. How can I download it and get rid of the browser?

The windows media player pops up on the left side right?
The same thing happened to me too.
There has also been several threads about (im too lazy to look for it)

This MIGHT work. I forgot..
In IE, Tools>Internet options>Advanced>Under the category 'Multimedia'>check the option 'Don't display online media content in teh medai bar'

If that doesnt work and you're really desperate get a different browser like mozilla or firefox.
