Online betting slips, FOR FREE OPS!!!

Post by Voices_Of_Ryan » Wed Aug 18, 2004 8:39 pm

Alright heres the deal, this is diffrent from anything you've ever seen in this place before (I think?).

My friend and I wanted to do something since we saw the news about an online betting agent betting jennifer lopez and mark anthony that they wouldnt stay married till christmas (story here http://channels.aimtoday.com/celebrity/ ... submit.y=9 ) .

So I thought... you know... this could make something interesting, so we where talking and talking, and came up with an interesting idea of our own.

:) Bet for your opinions.

Alright heres how it goes.

If jennifer lopez (shes been married 3 times, and engaged to ben affleck incase you dont know) and mark anothony split up by christmas, and you bet that they'll stay together, you must op the person above (or in the case of them winning, below you) you.

If they stay married, and you bet against them, same thing :).

BUT.

If you happen to win YOUR paticular bet, you can pick anyone from this thread (that had a losing hand) to do ONE op for you.

And the opinions must be ATLEAST a resonable opinion nothing like.

GOOD: That was cool
Bad: It sucked
Overall: Shrugs

If you're up for it, I'll start the first bet :P.

I bet that they'll stay together :).

Hey I've got an idea, what if everyone voted that they would break up? Then as soon as they did, Voices would have a couple hundred ops on his hands! (Of course if they managed to stay together He'd be rolling in the proverbial dough, but hey, we'd still only be doing one op apiece.)

And come on, they're celebrities. Christmas is months away! I'll be surprised if they last out the week! They Don't take that "till death do us part" thing very seriously. More like "Till our PR managers tell us it would be mutually beneficial..."

Think of it, you've got nothing to lose and a whole lot of laughter to gain when they split on the 24. :D I vote they make it

This conclusion has been made because I've noticed a trend with J'Lo.... when it comes down to it. She's a tease, BUT since someone has basically told her that her relationship won't make it, I think out of spite, it will last at least til Christmas. So, I'm betting they make it.

I'll bet that we've all forgotten about this bet by then.

I'll also bet that they break up.
(call me in 4 months!)

So that means I op everyone above me? Or does someone say:

"Brolly, op my vid!"

Or both?

But then I heard this news days after Christmas. So does that mean I win?

Damn I'm stupid. :(
