Noise filters in Final Cut Express?

If they're not in the Effects tab somewhere then they're not there.

Do yourself a favor and upgrade to FCP. If you want to do any sort of complicated effects in your AMVs, it's basically required.

Hey, hadn't noticed you'd responded. Well, I'd love to upgrade, but it's just way too expensive. Noise effects seem pretty basic though, so I'm pretty disappointed there's none in FCE

there are alternatives

i think there may be some avisynth filters that poduce noise

windows movie maker has some noise like effects

Well I'm using a Mac, and those are PC only alternatives, but thanks anyway
