A Good converter for a mac?
Anyone got any ideas. Because my friends can't open the .mov files from Final Cut Pro and when I do my part for a collab or MEP they can't open it in Sony Vegas. anyone think they can help me?

It is quite possible to open it at SV.
It works pretty well with MOV's from cameras and probably other ones.
Ithink there's codecs in need~ Try to download cccp, and if still not working download quicktime it also helps (it helped me). I guess ^^ .

What kind of mov files, maybe you can remux and it'll work. It's not like mov is the only format FCP can output either. I really wish people would stop calling containers formats, as they can handle MANY different formats and arbitrarily referring to mov doesn't magically make something work, same goes for MP4, MKV, and AVI.
