Vegas Plugin Issue

I'm sorry if this has already been addressed, but my installation of Sony Vegas 8.0 seems to never let me install the Media Manager or any of the transition/effects plugins. I've tried reverting to older versions, and reinstalling, but neither have worked, I don't mind too much about the Media Manager, but I would like to know if there is a way separate from the installer that would allow me to receive all of the plugins/transitions/etc. that I need.
