Problem with masking...sony vegas 7

Hi, j ve made the mask of a charachter and j succed in deleting the landscape out of it....but how can j delete a part of the clip that is inside my charachter?

this img is an example of the part j want to delete together with the outer part (for this j have no problems!)

You just have to change the mode of the mask from Positive to Negative
