Vegas pro 8 issues in vista

Alright, so, I've just installed vista 8 hoping that it would fix the issues I was having with Vista 7, alas no such luck has decended upon me.

Whenever I try to load up Sony Vegas Pro 8 I get an error message saying "Sony Vegas Pro has stopped working"
