Avi rendering
Sony vegas wont allow me to render anything in avi. ive tried a bunch of different codecs but none seem to make a difference. help please?

Export uncompressed/Lagarith/Huffyuv, Editing software tends to not like exporting in lossy formats, Then compress it using tools such as VirtualDub or zarx264gui
