Re: Installing Plug-ins :<
.. I think you have to import them -- into your filters/plug-in area -- er something like that;
I've downloaded a few myself and can't figure-out how to start "loading them" myself!

Re: Installing Plug-ins :<
I love what it says here: Vegas 8b Platinum,
"Plug-In
An effect that can be added to the product to enhance the feature set. Vegas Movie Studio software supports all DirectX plug-ins. The built in EQ, Compression and Dithering effects are also considered plug-ins because they work in other DirectX-compatible applications."
how to load plug-in; kindly refer to http: sony blah blah
I'm still looking in the manual that came with this software and its not being helpful (( cry's ))

Re: Installing Plug-ins :<
Plug-ins .. got it to work ^__^ -- although this error was my fault!
They are loaded into Platinum 8b the same way Photoworks 3 - CS & Photoshop 5 - 9 are loaded; Preferences.
(( Here I am telling people that Editors are Glorified Photoworks and it didn't even dawn on me to try it THAT WAY. ))
I got in touch with the people who made the plug-in's that didn't load themselves and they
said, "its designed to place them in one location on-purpose -- the older versions like PSP 5
which had to be manually loaded" is the example that they gave. As such, I found that those
older plug-ins were soo old that they were already part of my program; under different names."
