Is there a setting to keep Vegas from changing the footage colors?

Post by END films » Mon Feb 12, 2024 10:31 pm

I'm on Vegas Pro 15 and both in the timeline and when rendered the colors of my video clips are washed out by default. This becomes very obvious if I put a screenshot from a clip in as well (ie extending a clip's length a few frames) as photos don't seem to have this issue. The bandaid solution I've found is to apply the "Studio RGB to Computer RGB" Levels preset on every video clip but I feel there should be some project setting or program preference to make Vegas handle footage as Computer RGB by default, but I just can't find it (myself or via google).

Thanks in advance for any help.
