But yeah, the greyed out area in that track typically means it's muted, you can mute/unmute by clicking the little (\) button right before the ! button where the Track list is.

This mute/unmute option is also available via the right click --Properties--Media tab. ;)

in the picture....that media layer was blacked out O.O you must've pressed "x"....thats why theres a greyish area around it...press x and it will show up o.o
