Sony Vegas, a question about audio.

Post by kiaraiskiara » Wed Mar 14, 2007 12:19 pm

I clipped an audio file on Vegas and wanted it to fade out. I was wondering if anyone could help me.

You want the audio to fade out? when you hold your mouse to the edge of the audio track at the end or beginning, the icon should change. Just drag your mouse to the desired length of the audio fade out/in you want.

just so you know, doing it with transitions as stated is the simple way.
it gets more differentiated if you add a volume envelope.

go to insert > audio envelope > volume

now you can add points throughout the whole file and control the volume on each point.
