I have a question, and maybe it was answered between pages 6 and 11, I don't know I stopped reading after page 5, cause I am kinda in a hurry to find this out.

Okay, I just downloaded Sony Vegas 6.0a, and when I try to do a transition, any one in particular, it messes up. For instance: the "Tumble In" transition, when I put it in between 2 clips, it comes up with a menu, I leave all the current settings alone thinking that it will work just like the preview shows it working. Well, I click the "X" button at the top right hand corner and rewatch the clips, when it gets to the transitional part the transition happens so fast that it is hardly even noticeable that a transition took place, all I see is a screen just pop up, it looks nothing like in the preview. I wanna know, how do I fix this problem? Do I have to toy around with the settings or what?

You're experiencing preview lag. You're gonna want to drag a loop around the transition (do this by clicking and dragging on an empty part of the timeline; a blue box should appear, and whatever's in that box is "looped"), then press Shift-B. A portion of your RAM will dedicate itself to making that part of your video run smoothly in the preview window. If you want to dedicate more RAM to this so you can smoothly preview a larger part of your video, go to Options>Preferences and click on the Video tab; you can increase the amount of RAM for dynamic previews in that box near the top.

Additionally, you can go to File>Render As... and check the "Render Loop Region Only" box at the bottom and render an .avi file to preview it.

^ And if after rendering, it's still too short, hover your mouse over the edge of the transition until you see the icon change, then drag it to the desired length.

Just an afterthought. o.O

Linking there might get you in trouble here, just so you know...

Have you tried extending the transition? Like, dragging it so it's longer?

Man. What's so bad about YouTube? It is so easy to upload stuff there and everything.

Guess I can try yousendit.com. >_>

Well lemme go see how yousendit.com works, then I'll go record I guess.

Well while you're uploading on yousendit, read this announcement and you'll understand why they filtered you.tube.
And I'm thinking that like I said before (unless I'm being ingored :? ) the transition it'self is just too short as is, so, just drag it, but it you're sure that's not it, I'll dl the part you're uploading and see what you mean.

Well, it's pretty stupid for them to blame YouTube for the demise of AMVs, considering that I see so many people who upload videos they DL from this site onto YouTube for the YouTube community to see.

Plus they have a lot of AMVs and episodes of just about every anime on that site.

But anyways, I tried dragging out the transition, and I did so in the video, unless I have to drag it even longer, which would seem absurd, but that may be the case, then something else is wrong.

The video is small, because my stupid computer isn't allowing me to save it the way I usually save videos from WMM, but you can still see what I am doing, and for some reason the recorder didn't sync my voice with what's happening on the video, the sound moves faster than the video for some reason, but you should be able to understand what's going on, it's mostly for the second part of the video.

Now all I need is your email address(es) so I can send it to you.

LOL DOUBLE POST

I got it now. I thought I was dragging the transition, but all I was doing is dragging the line. So there is no need to DL anything, I figured it out. =D

Now, I wanna know, Can I add titles and credits to my presentation? If so how? Cause I can't find anything that allows me to do so.
