Forget the subtitles. I have that taken care of.

Can someone explain where these little marks come from as it fades. If it helps, I'm using screenshots from VLC at the moment before I start ripping.

I've combined the pictures thru a Red and Blue Filter .. to see the differences.

Yeah, I realized that it does not show what I was seeing. Originally, there were some blotches near the end of the fade.

I guess I understand what you are meaning but I'm not sure about the answer.

Was it something like this (maybe not so strong)?

This error is because of different frame rate between a clip (29.97) and a vegas project (23.97). Also problems with colorspaces and codecs might bring similar blotches.

And sometimes there's no a reason, just try to open the project again.

It wasn't like that. Besides, I was doing a storyboard so it was a screenshot. I did it again the other day and it was gone. BTW, you are able to adjust the framerate for the Vegas project, right?

Ok I have followed the tutorial in here for cropping out subtitles and it looks fine on the timeline preview. But after I render it the video just goes black at around the 33 second mark (audio track still plays)

Is there something I am overlooking here?

Thanks

Nevermind, I figured out a way to fix that.
