ok I've masked out the first part of the clip.but see with the second clip?I've been using the Event Pan/Crop window to get the part I want. But it only does it in rectangles and the image looks a bit pixelated as if it's been zoomed too much in.The edges are sharp too,any way I could trim and feather them? And for moving it to the masked out part,do I use the track motion tool?

you can feather the edges of a mask by changing the feather options in the mask menusquallxrinoa wrote:ok I've masked out the first part of the clip.but see with the second clip?I've been using the Event Pan/Crop window to get the part I want. But it only does it in rectangles and the image looks a bit pixelated as if it's been zoomed too much in.The edges are sharp too,any way I could trim and feather them? And for moving it to the masked out part,do I use the track motion tool?
as for the image looking blurry or pixelated, that sounds like you don't have a good source for your footage... I'd just use pan/crop to slide it over Track Motion is more for moving everything on the track.

Are you using downloaded source? It's sounds like it to me, as this is a typical result of that. Vegas doesn't like XviD. Buy some DVDs or go learn to use VirtualDubMod and the like to transcode the video.
... yea ...
