Stretching a clip on? (Or ripping one frame)
Lets say, I have a clip where I want the video to freeze for a three seconds at one spot. Is there any way to cut out a single frame to carry it on? The way I normally do this is by lowering the velocity, and lagging it out, but it is getting too monotonous, and always looked ugly. Is there a way to do it in the Vegas program itself? I got 7.0 for a heads up.

Take a screenshot of the frame you want to freeze and use that.

Easy.
If the point you want is NOT at the actual end of the clip, first right-click the clip and select "Create Subclip".
Right-click the clip - 'Switches' - uncheck "Loop". Now it won't start over when you drag it out.
OR - a rendered single frame works either way.
