Vegas Pro 8 Pan/Crop Help

Okay, normally when I clip event pan/crop a blue box is surrounding the clip which i can then click and drag to resize,
However the other day, i accidently clicked a button on the keyboard and the blue dashed box then vanished and i am unable to crop the clip.
Does anybody know how i can get this back, tried everything i can look at in the event pan/crop box but can't find anything.

Hope you understand what i'm talking about, i can take a screenshot if necessary.

it's possible that you accidently swichted it over to the masking area. At the bottom, there should be two timelines, one that says "mask" with a checkbox beside it, and above that one that says "pan\crop or something along those lines (I forget). Click on the pan\crop mini-timeline.
