I've been working on this AMV for a while and I'm using about...50 different sources.
Suddenly, as I was working, Vegas crashed and now every time I try to render my file, it constantly says "An Exception Has Occured"
Then, Vegas closes down.
I searched on the net and I haven't found any solutions. I'm on a vista, 32-bit, 3ghz core2 duo, 3GB ram pc.
Please help!

Re: Help! Sony Vegas Pro 8.0c (An Exception Has Occured)
usually happens when the orginal file has changed somehow in format.
For exsample.......Im using a .avi compressed file and insert that into vegas then i go a change that file to a .avi uncompressed file.
Sony vegas doesnt notice the the files format has changed on intial start up so when you go to render it. It notices the change and shuts down.
Samething happened to me on Sony vegas 7.0(which i use)
If this isnt the problem PM me and ill work with you to fix it

That happens to me sometimes too. I have no idea why tho. I also use vista. But vegas always auto saves so I don't really lose anything.
