Anime Sequels

There were a few anime series that I would have liked to see sequels to. Fruits Basket was one of them but then I read the manga and that satisfied me.
I was also extremely disappointed with how they ended Witch Hunter Robin. There definitely should have been a sequel because the ending made no sense. And for what I know, there isn't a manga to it, so it's not like I can go and buy it to see what happens.
Loveless....Now that was messed up. They didn't explain anything about the relationship with Semei or who the organization is that wants Ristuka.
There are a few more but I can't think of them at the moment -.-'

What they should make is a sequel/spin-off to Ninja Scroll that's actually worth watching.
Another Blood movie would be cool. Specifically, something with animation on par with the first one. Don't know about the rest of ya, but I couldn't watch Blood+ after seeing The Last Vampire simply because of the difference in style.
I wouldn't mind revisiting Vampire Hunter D either, but again, as long as the animation was the same as Bloodlust.

Well I wouldn't mind seeing more Fullmetal Alchemist as long as it went by the manga. I also would like to see more Trinity Blood since the ending sucked or at least a movie sequel or some thing. Series that don't need sequels shouldn't be bothered with. Especially if they have a good ending in the first place. I couldn't imagine a Wolf's Rain 2 or a Samurai 7 2.

I really hate pointless sequels, especially when they sour the first series. Jubei-chan is a good example. The first one was really fun, and it had a very good ending that I enjoyed and then they try and CONTINUE it by just pulling "plot points" out of their ass...I really hate that. With sequels like that, I try and pretend like they don't exist. Dragonball GT is another example.

I keep hearing that they might continue Fruits Basket. That would be awesome.
I know that when they ended the original anime, that all the manga-ka had written up to at that time. Now that the manga is continuing, the anime should finish with it.

I honestly would be interested in a FLCL sequel...but maybe 10 years down the road. I was impressed as hell with Diebuster and it's animation and characters, but it definately is not as good as the story in Gunbuster.
Could you imagine Haruko returning like...5 years later, something catastrophic has happened out there in the universe somewhere, some kind of final battle needs to be fought? I'd like to see that but with things like in Diebuster...Lark pulling the planet core through the void and throwing it.
Reguardless of if a sequel is done or not, it won't neccessarily ruin the first one for me..I love it as it is, nothing could ruin it. If they made a crappy sequel, I'd just ignore it >_> But yet I'd be curious...if anyone could pull off a production like FLCL2 and have it be as good or better, it's Gainax.
or maybe kyoani? :3
