If your a fan of evangelion, you might know what song I am searching for. anyway, In the evangelion episode where shinji was forced to kill kaoru, episode 24, what was the name of the opera song that was playing in the background? It was also in the begining of 25 when shinji was being interagated....sort of. I have been looking for that song because, it is great background music for a music video that revolves around destruction. please anybody respond if you know or might know the song title.

I haven't seen that far in the series yet, but I've seen Death & Rebirth. And it has that scene you're talking about. Off the top of my head, I can't really remember. My best guess is Ode to Joy. For some reason, that's all I can think of right now.

Nah, I know it's not 'Ode to Joy'. Ode to Joy is the song that plays when Asuka gets mind-fugged by one of the angels. (Which Rei ended up spearing with the Lance of Longinus, if memory serves me correctly. It's been a while since I've watched Eva)

And no....the song that plays when Asuka is being raped is the "Hallelujah Chorus" by Handel.
