Noir...Any fans?

Post by Iced Earth Fan » Wed Jul 25, 2007 8:59 pm

Noir is a great show and I probably would have never saw it if my friend plus fellow Otaku hadn't told me about it. Since then I've bought the box set and the show has risen to number one on my all time favorites list. My favorite character is probably Kirika, though I haven't quite decided yet. Feel free to discuss anything on Noir here, I wonder how far this post will go?

Sincerely,
Parker.

I wouldn't be too sure... last mention of that series on the series discussion board back in late 2004/early 2005... without any real direction to the post, there's little to warrent anything besides a lock.

Well, I bought the first disc (containing 4 eps) awhile back. I like the look and feel, but it moves prett slow. Does it pick up later? I just wonder if it's worth purchasing the rest...

.. near the end, the girls are trying to re-create the past only to find that they had been lied-to by the sisterhood. The pace does not pick-up through the rest of the series because its a study on judgments. Noir; you can never enter, you can only leave.

While the pacing was a bit off, it had a decent story and some great music. So while it isn't one of my favorites it is worth at least seeing. I just haven't gotten the motivation to buy my own copy of it yet ;)

Noir had a good premise, great art, and superb music. The negatives of the series was definitely the pace of the series, and the anti-climatic action sequences.
