What's the title of this movie?

It's a live action Asian film. There's this kid with a staff. A man and a woman are trying to rescue someone, (their uncle?), who the gangsters have placed in some kind of industrial kettle thing and he's running out of air while everyone is fighting. The girl remembers some kind of punch training technique and breaks the glass on the kettle thing to save the guy....

Anyone know what I'm rambling on about?

Hmm. A kid with a staff, the only thing that comes to my mind is the old live action Dragon Ball movie. I don't know the title or anything because I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard its pretty horrible. Hope this helps!

I saw the end of this film at Anime USA a couple years ago but didn't catch the title.

a kid with a Staff .. Live Action .. 0_o .. Dungeons & Dragons .. maybe ..

its the Staff that makes it hard to remember things in Live Action Shows!

There were dozens of live actions that have " a kid with a staff" in them. Go figure.
