Advent Children is NOT ANIME

Why do people insist on calling this Anime? Its a CGI movie based off of a 10 year old video game.

Probably because according to our site's definition, animation (regardless of the tools used in creating it or the styles seen in it) produced by a Japanese company for (at least initially) a Japanese audience is anime. It fits those criteria - as do a lot of other video games' footage.

obviously ur outnumbere by how many ppl agree it is. That its an anime since there are also other anime out there that is all CGI
