This counts for me, too. Eureka Seven has to be the most awesome ending I have ever seen. It touched me so hard I can't get over it even now. !! WATCH IT !!label me a noob for this, but the series that I can think of hitting me the most, has to be eureka 7, around eps 28 ect, I could hardly stand it.

I haven't seen Kanon yet but I can assure you that I was down on the ground crying like a little baby after seeing the last episode. Thus, I deeply recommend that series!!

Different shows appeal and affect different people. I wouldn't label you a noob for having Eureka 7 hit you as hard as it did, 76. As for me, I've tried on several occasions to get into Eureka 7, but it just never sank in for me. I can try again, but there are no guarantees. Thanks for the recommendation guys![/quote]Nunchuck wrote:This counts for me, too. Eureka Seven has to be the most awesome ending I have ever seen. One series that blind sided me was Kasimasi Girl Meets Boy.
Ok it's logical to call it yuri anime to a point.
But the "girl" in the show, began life as a boy.
Now think about it, today your a teen boy, tomorrow you are a teen girl. Picture how buggered up you life would be.
The girl you were in love with, well she's still a girl, but now you are too.
The other girl secretly in love with you still recalls all the years knowing you as a boy.
Your best buddy now can't be atypical around you, as now you ain't one of the guys.
Hell you have to learn all sort of things that you before might have only needed to understand, but not actually deal with. I wonder how a guy, now a girl, would handle their first menstrual cycle.
And now date rape actually means a lot more to you, because now it might be you getting pregnant.
And the show did a nice job showing how hard it would be to just turn off feelings simply because they were now not realistic. Could you stop loving your girlfriend, if tomorrow you were a girl too?
I thought it was a great short length anime series.
I actually encounter a lot of these short duration anime with some great human drama in them while just being fun as well.
Maybe being so far removed from my teen years gives me some different view points on some animes I guess.

Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.

Thought I had that wrong, I'm sometimes hard pressed to get some titles straight (so danged many variations out there too sometimes).Pas1990 wrote:Correction, the anime is called Kashimashi ~Girl meets girl~lestheanimesarge wrote:One series that blind sided me was Kasimasi Girl Meets Boy.
