Nerima Daikon Brothers!!!

I just LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the Blues Brothers, and when I found out there was an anime inspired by The Blues Brothers, I needed to buy all 3 volumes as soon as I got the money! I've seen the clips, and I'm HIGHLY amazed! Although I'm rather disturbed at how Hideki's in love with Mako (she's his cousin), and Ichiro's obsession with pandas kinda bothers me. But anyway, ADV Films oughta release a NDB album with the full versions of the songs, because as far as I know, the ones in the show are too short. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a second season, and they like had cameos or characters played by legendary singers or musicians? Like:

Billy Joel
Sammy Hagar
Pete Townshend
Peter Gabriel
Steven Tyler
Peter Wolf (lead singer of The J. Geils Band)
Kelly Keagy (Night Ranger)
Willie Nelson
Lionel Richie
Huey Lewis
Stevie Wonder
Al Green

And people like that! That'd kick ass!

Nerima Diakon is really a good humorous anime. I've seen the whole thing, don't worry about the romance, it's just part of the humor, and the panda's are a few laughs too. A musical anime is a bit of a departure from the normal anime, and makes for a welcome change. I'm sure you are going to like the series.

I really wish they would do a second series, but I'm not sure using big name singers would work all that well. Might be interesting, problem is, they probably couldn't afford the price they would ask.

If you enjoy a series with some good music, you might like to check out "Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad". It's not a comedy, but is an interesting "coming of age" type, about a boy who joins a rock group.
