I think they meant "your favorite music from an anime series or movie"
Since I'm on a big Azumanga Daioh kick, I like the background music from that series, although it seems to repeat a lot. I'm not sure if that opinion will outlive my kick.
Can't beat those bombastic duel themes from Utena (my personal favorite being Last Evolution (etcetera), as it mashes together the usual RAHRR! with a lot of sadness and desperation). They all start to blur together as they're similar to each other, but as a whole they're very stirring. The opening and the ending songs (esp. the second one, Virtual Star Hasseigaku, which I probably misspelled) are also very good.
Hmmm. You know, I tend not to notice incidental music unless there's little else going on in a scene. Perhaps I should start.

Let's all be blind for one day! I like Eva's classical music (I am listening to it now). Also, has anyone heard "A Dragonball Z Battle in a Nutshell"? I got it from Kazaa once, and it's funny. I think I might make an MAV from it someday. It is pretty funny. It isn't a song, it's a comedy bit.SarahtheBoring wrote:Hmmm. Eva classical music is good...not because it's Eva but cos it's good classical music
DBZ in a nutshell? Is that the one where the narrator speaks real fast and goes over all the main events? heheh yeah that was funny. I saw a Tenchi one somewhere too.
Forgot about Ghibli music...always of high quality...

Like Hikari just mentioned, Eva's music isn't just great because it's Eva, it's nice music. I don't know about you guys, but I am a sucker for Piano. Classic, Jazz, Golden Oldies, it doesn't matter, I just love it. Heart and Soul when it was done in the soundtrack to the movie "Big" (With Tom Hanks) was GREAT! I like a lot of different songs. Here are some of my favorites:
SteppenWolf Hooked on A Feeling, Majic Carpet Ride, Born to be Wild, and Wild Thing
AC/DC Back in Black
Travis Sing
KC And The SB Jungle Boogie
Aretha Franklin Respect
Elvis Presley I'm All Shook Up
Scott Joplin The Entertainer
Queen Bohemian Rhapsody and Under Pressure
Billy Joel Only The Good Die Young
Ben Folds Five Rockin' the Suburbs and Underground
I can't remember any others right now... ^^ I think Luke Vibert's remix of Tank! is the best I've heard of that song.
