I was re-watching evangelion, (I forgot why I hated it so I decided to re-watch it to remind myself.) And during the ending credits I noticed the lyrics were in english. I listened closer, and the song was fly me to the moon, only redone for the series, but crapy too. Thank god Sanatra wasn't alive so know about this. I hope they all burn in hell.

Ok go to hell. Megumi Hayshibara does an excellent Fly me to the moon. Besides the best version of it is by Tom jones.

First of all, "Fly Me to the Moon" wasn't Sinatra's copyright. It was written long before he ever sang it. Second, if the ending theme song is the reason why you hate Evangelion, you've redefined the word "pathetic."

"Fly Me to the Moon" was first published by Bart Howard in 1954. Sinatra was the first to record it, yes, but he didn't do so until 1964 (album "It Might As Well Be Swing", Reprise Records), 10 years after the song was written. So no, it is in no way Frank Sinatra's alone. And a theme song is a damn stupid reason for hating a beautifully written anime.

I hate the anime because it's a crappy story with crapy character that has not one but TWO crappy endings. This just reenforces my hatred of the show.

It's the best apocalyptic anime sense Akira. So who cares if Shinji is a wuss, at least he's not like tenchi. And another thing how can you down wonder girl. Nobody downs Rei, nobody. The mechs the selves were a work of art.

alot of anime opening and ending songs are bad, that does not make the show it self bad, only the story and the art can do that, but it did not, so go hate on another anime. and atleast have a good reason man.
