TV version of Clannad had me crying too!! (never saw the movie) I read the lyrics and was laughing so hard tears came to my eyes.... sorry the most emotional part was during those songs.... but the lyrics were so SILLY!!!!

Nightwalker Midnight Detective (The stories were very touching and heartwarming. The soundtrack made the tears come worse.)

Almost every series I own has gotten some sad emotion to bubble up in me. Even Origin, which was not a great movie, I choked up as Toola talked about how she wanted to see what Agito's home looked like with him.

So many things in FMA have gotten honest-to-goodness tears from me. Around episode 8, after Ed is attacked by Barry, he says that they're so small, insignificant humans that couldn't even save a little girl. And if you don't cry over Words of Farewell, you have no soul.

The scene in the last episode really got to me, after Al has decided that he'll bring Ed back from the dead and the setting changes to the white Gate-type background with Ed. The moment that Ed has the tears going down his face and the only thing he says is "Al?" had so much in it for me. Because that single little moment showed that FMA, despite all the characters and subplots that gave the show its structure, was always about Ed and Al and how much they matter to each other. And it seems like Ed knew somehow that Al had sacrificed himself and that's why he was crying, but he also wants Al because his brother is the only person that makes him feel safe and that's what he needs at that moment.
