russian teens killing zombies

around a year ago (give or take some months) i remember someone putting up a post about a series about some russian teenagers with special powers killing zombies or vampires or something similar. I took a brief look at the website and it seemed interested but had not been released yet. well here it is a long time after that and i'm just curious if a series like that has been released. I havnt seen it on any of the previews for the past year ( i went back through them) and i can't even remember the name (i think it might have had "red" in it" but am not sure. Anyone have any idea what i'm talking about? i just want to get the name, after that i can research it myself.

Sounds like First Squad.
Supposedly they're making it into a movie to be released later this year.

bingo, that's it, couldnt remember the name, thought it was supposed to be a series. hmm, movie, it's listed as an OVA on ANN but with 73 minute length it pretty much is a movie. no official release date yet it seems (other than late 2009). The trailer is pretty awsome, definitely going to keep an eye out for this
