Does anyone know any good romance/slice of life anime similar to Fruits Basket, Clannad, Kanon 2006 etc. ?

you can change the search options and stuff though... So you can narrow the list more to what you want.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

While it is awesome, I'd say it's quite different from the ones OP is asking for in a couple of major points (Kemonozume has a bit of a focus on erotica and major supernatural/fighting elements alongside the romance and drama — it also doesn't have slice of life elements).

I'd say Kimi ni Todoke, Air, and Yotsunoha. Shinkai movies will mostly fit in there, too. Eden of the East and Asatte no Houkou are other two very good series that would fit in a list of this kind. I'm not sure about Ai Yori Aoshi, but I'll throw it in anyway.

Hmmm....

School Rumble was really cute, and reminded me a lot of a mix between Fruits Basket and the sillier parts of Clannad.

ToraDora! was really cute too, very similar concept wise, but goes outside the box on several different occasions.

Give Midori Days a shot, as well as Shuffle! if you don't mind fanservice.
Also, Ef- A Tale of Memories and Ef- A Tale of Melodies

The Story of Saiunkoku may be one you'd like, though it isn't modern-day.

And Happy Lesson, though it starts out pretty frenetic, settles down after a few episodes.

Kodocha is another good choice--even has some of the voice talent from Fruits Basket, so you won't feel you've wandered far from home!

Pretear is good as well, though there's a certain amount of magical-girl-fighting-demons stuff there.

It wasn't about Romance, that was about devotion.
She was raised as a girl in a liberal environment but,
got a glimpse of a boy who she found to be kind-and-gentle.
She then devoted her entire life, in every way she knew how, to be his everything.

He, on the other hand, was raised with fairly stiff-parents. Mother was forced to leave
at an early age for something "he" never understood and "he" always hated his DAD
for doing "that" to his MOM.

One day, she got on a train to find him. She wanted to move-in with him but the
customs of the times-we-live-in would not allow it.

The rest is covered in the Anime with no sugar-attached.
