Toyama Launches Anti-Suicide Campaign with Madoka of KOR

Yep. You heard me. Here's the poster (Click for press release):

The Japanese Madoka says means "We are connected, heart to heart."

Izumi Matsumoto, the creator of Kimagure Orange Road was born in Toyama Prefecture. The poster is available to anyone who requests copies, but they expect it to be placed in a public place somewhere in Japan. I am going to talk to Toyama's Prefectural Government, my contacts at my own city's City Hall, and my schools about getting some up in Fukuchiyama.

And if there happens to be a few extra for people's personal collections, well... >.>

Actually guys, I don't have to tell you how cool I think this is. Not just because of my personal fandom, but because how great a spokeswoman Madoka makes. This is a serious issue in Japan, and it even affects children as young as elementary school now. At the middle school and high school level, it has been a problem for years, and with the economy being as bad as it is, it has just gotten worse. I'm glad to see my favorite anime used in such a positive way. And it is just the thing Madoka Ayukawa would do if she were more than just paper and ink.

:o

That IS interesting, and this parent has already come as close as he wishes to get on the subject. I have a child that has suffered the impact of a near encounter with suicidal feelings. You won't feel any pain more severe than worrying for your child.
Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.

Can anyone translate the document for English speaking persons?

I just did it with googles ability to translate websites. Not sure on how accurate it is though.

That's actually pretty close. Mostly just the grammar is completely backwards.
